Travis and Presley
Presley was the first dog in history to address theOklahoma House of Representatives!
Representative Rex Duncan and Senator David Myers recently presented a citation to Travis Brorsen and his Boxer, Presley. Brorsen Addressed the House of Representatives, and Sen. Myers and Rep. Duncan then honored Travis with the citation. Travis was reared on a farm near Perry, was a member of FFA and graduated from Oklahoma State University. He is now an actor living in Los Angeles. Last Summer Travis and Presley appeared on CBS Greatest American Dog reality competition and won $250,000. Travis is a positive role model for young people and has brought recognition to Oklahoma, returning to his home state to provide encouraging words to 10,000 FFA members and perform with Presley at their closing session; whereas, the Oklahoma Legislature takes great pride in recognizing Travis Brorsen for his outstanding accomplishments in the field of entertainment. Now, therefore, pursuant to the motion of Rep. Rex Duncan and Sen. David Myers the Oklahoma House of Representatives and Senate extends to Travis Brorsen sincere congratulations and directs this citation be presented.
