Golden Retriever in the House?
 Final day Grand Entry at the 2009 Golden Retriever Club of Americas National Specialty dog show in Enid, OK.
Aubrey at Max the Golden Retriever.com was fortunate to attend the event held this year in Enid, OK. The annual event brings the best Golden Retrievers from around the US (and 9 other countries this year) to compete in Conformation, Rally, Obedience and Agility events. Travis and Presley
 Presley was the first dog in history to address the
Oklahoma House of Representatives!Representative Rex Duncan and Senator David Myers recently presented a citation to Travis Brorsen and his Boxer, Presley. Brorsen Addressed the House of Representatives, and Sen. Myers and Rep. Duncan then honored Travis with the citation. Travis was reared on a farm near Perry, was a member of FFA and graduated from Oklahoma State University. He is now an actor living in Los Angeles. Last Summer Travis and Presley appeared on CBS Greatest American Dog reality competition and won $250,000. Travis is a positive role model for young people and has brought recognition to Oklahoma, returning to his home state to provide encouraging words to 10,000 FFA members and perform with Presley at their closing session; whereas, the Oklahoma Legislature takes great pride in recognizing Travis Brorsen for his outstanding accomplishments in the field of entertainment. Now, therefore, pursuant to the motion of Rep. Rex Duncan and Sen. David Myers the Oklahoma House of Representatives and Senate extends to Travis Brorsen sincere congratulations and directs this citation be presented.
A Dog Named Zo-Zo
 Hey Curtis,
I just had to put my girl Zoe "Bear" (chow lab mix) of 18.5 years to sleep on Wednesday Oct. 21 , 2009. My friends called her Zo-Zo. If you would add Zo-Zo to your female name list I would greatly appreciate it. I have been trying to find a way to recognize her in a special way, maybe someone else will use that name for their pet and it will be as wonderful and devoted as Zoe "Bear" (Zo-Zo) was to me, my family and all my friends.

Here is a photo of Zoe between the age of 16.5 and 18.5 years old! Her blue eyes are the result of many years suffering from glaucoma. She died of CRF(Chronic Renal Failure) and also developed Acute Pancreatitis.
