If you are thinking about adopting or buying a dog perhaps you need to take a look at what would be the best breed of dog for you and your family. There is a lot of information out there and the American Kennel Club recognizes over 150 breeds. They are divided into seven groups. Your best bet is to find out about the characteristics and history of the different dogs.
